Ban Plastic Bags in Edinburgh

Look around you... plastic bags are omnipresent ~ at the roadside, on embankments, fences, bushes, trees, parks, forests, beaches, dunes, streams, rivers, lakes the ocean... this urban tumbleweed, a metaphor for our mass consumption, is EVERYWHERE! We need to re-connect with nature...

Old Dalkeith Road Edinburgh ~ from an unsightly pollutant... to a sinister menace!

'Disposable' plastics are the greatest source of plastic pollution. Designed to be discarded, bags, straws, utensils, packaging, bottles, containers, coffee lids and so many others offer a small convenience but remain forever. REFUSE disposable plastics! Follow the '4 Rs' of sustainable living: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...
